Domangart Réti

Domangart I. ( Domangart mac Fergus ) was one of the early kings of the Irish-Scottish Kingdom of Dalriada.

Domangart was the son of King Fergus I., whom he succeeded on the throne by 501. The Annals of the Four Masters, according to he married Feldelm Foltchain, the daughter of Brion, half brother of the Irish High King Niall Noigíallach, demonstrating the continued existing close bonds of the Scottish kingdom of Ireland. Whether Domangart bore the title of king itself is not secured, for his successor Comgall, who inherited it around 507, it probably is.
