Dominion III

Dominion III is a music project from Austria.

Career

The project was founded in 1998 by Tharen ( whose real name is unknown ) was founded. This happened shortly after his other band Dargaard had released their debut album. Dominion III, the appropriate expression of his feelings appeared to him in a more stringent electric style. As with Dargaard also contributed Elisabeth Toriser her voice.

Tharen gave their debut album " The Hand and the Sword ," a style of apocalyptic electronic music. This music was very expressive and hard, and treated dark and wrathful aspects of life. Tharens music often displays these traits that come from its black metal background. The band got a record deal with Napalm Records, as already Tharens other projects.

The second release came two years after " The Hand and the Sword " and was given the title " Life Has Ended Here". This album was now stronger in the electric direction and was also significantly more influenced by the guitar. This was because the guitarist Jörg Lanz from Tharens band Amestigon joined them. However, the music continued to show their aggressive nature combined with sinister sound views.

Tharen stated that the band would eventually switch to another brand that was more focused on electronic music. But the relationship with Napalm Records was still good.
