Don Francks

Don Francks ( born February 28, 1932 in Vancouver, British Columbia; actually Donald Harvey Francks ) is a Canadian actor, jazz musician and singer.

Life and work

Don Francks was adopted and grew up in Burnaby, a city east of Vancouver, on. He stands as an entertainer on stage since his youth. For the first time he stepped on the age of eleven in the play The Willow Pattern Plate. He is a theater, television and cinema actor. It is a jazz singer and jazz musician and plays the trombone and flute. At an early age he sang on the radio and got the nickname Don Francksinatra. On stage, he played leading roles in the musicals Oklahoma ( 1954) and Anything Goes ( 1955). He sang the lead role in the Broadway musical Kelly (1965 ), which was set as a disaster in the night when it opened again.
