Dover (District)

Dover is a District in the county of Kent in England. Administrative center is the city of Dover; significant sights are Aylesham, Deal, Eythorne, Kingsdown, Sandwich, Temple Ewell, Walmer and Wingham.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the boroughs of Deal, Dover and Sandwich, of Dover Rural District and most of Eastry Rural District of.
