Drew Goddard

Drew Goddard ( born February 26, 1975 in Los Alamos, New Mexico) is an American screenwriter, producer and director.

Life

Goddard joined in the film business for the first time in the years 2002 and 2003 as a scriptwriter of several episodes of the TV series Buffy - The Vampire Slayer in appearance. From 2003 to 2004 he served as executive story editor on the spin- off series Angel - involved Hunters of darkness, for he was also active as an author in the same period. Both projects meant the first collaboration with Joss Whedon.

In the years 2005 to 2006 Goddard was as a producer and writer for the series Alias ​​- The agent operates. This meant the beginning of a long collaboration with JJ Abrams. 2008 Goddard wrote for Cloverfield, his first feature film, the screenplay. JJ Abrams produced the project. Another collaboration resulted in the television series Lost for which Goddard wrote several screenplays and managed in different positions for some time as a producer.

In 2012 he made ​​his directorial debut and directed the horror film The Cabin in the Woods, for whom he wrote the screenplay together with Joss Whedon.
