Matthew Michael Carnahan

Matthew Michael Carnahan is an American screenwriter. Among other things, he wrote the screenplays for the feature films The Kingdom ( 2007) Lions for Lambs (2007). Together with Damon Lindelof and Drew Goddard he was involved in writing the screenplay for World War Z ( 2013).

The script for Lions for Lambs wrote Carnahan for United Artists. He is the brother of Joe Carnahan, who wrote the screenplays for Narc and Smokin 'Aces and directed.

Estimates

The reviews of Carnahan's work has been mixed. Based on 17 reviews reached The Kingdom at Metacritic 55 out of 100. Rotten Tomatoes led the film with a positive voting share of 53%, based on 120 reviews. Kaveh L Afrasiabi of Asia Times called the film " a pseudo- realistic action movie, which can only be successful if we deign ourselves to the vision of the world events of adolescent Americans " and " non-stop nonsense from beginning to end ". He accused the film as " FBI - worship" and " Islamophobic ".

Lions for Lambs was generally more negative to mixed reviews from critics. On November 10, 2007, only 27% of the 133 votes assessments were positive reviews on the Rotten Tomatos platform. At Metacritic, the film achieved an average rating of 47 out of 100 points on 33 ratings.

Currently he is working on the movie version of the BBC drama television series State of Play and the screenplay for White Jazz.
