Dror Feiler

Dror Feiler ( born August 31, 1951 in Tel Aviv ) is a Swedish- Israeli composer, musician (including saxophone) and artist based in Stockholm.

Life

Feiler has been living in Sweden in 1973 and is married to the artist Gunilla Sköld - Feiler.

He studied contemporary music and played in the jazz band Lokomotiv concrete terms. Attention he and his wife made ​​in 2004 with the artwork Snövit och sanningens vansinne ( German: Snow White and the Madness of Truth ), which gave rise to easier diplomatic crisis between Israel and Sweden.

Feiler served as a paratrooper in the Israel Defense Forces and was in 1970 the first " refuzniks " ( COs ) who refused to serve in the Israeli-occupied territories.
