Dumpling

Dumplings is an umbrella term for dishes which are common with various fillings in many countries around the world.

The dough of flour or durum wheat semolina, water, salt and sometimes eggs is flat rolled and portioned. Each part is occupied with the desired filling, closed more or less artful and then boiled, steamed, roasted or fried. Due to the ease of preparation and the range of possible variations dumplings have been around for centuries spread around the world. Whether the European incurred regardless of the Asian versions, is not yet fully understood.
