Dušan Ivković

Dušan " Duda " Ivković ( Serbian Cyrillic Душан " Дуда " Ивковић; born October 29, 1943 in Belgrade ) is a retired Serbian basketball player and current basketball coach. In 2008 he was elected one of the ten best coaches in the Euro League history.

Ivković is currently coach of the basketball department of Olympiakos Piraeus and the Serbian national team.

Career as a basketball player

Ivković played from 1958 to 1968 in the Yugoslav league at KK Radnički Belgrade.

Career as a coach

Ivković coached the teams KK Radnički Belgrade, Partizan Belgrade, Aris Thessaloniki, Šibenik, Vojvodina Novi Sad, PAOK Thessaloniki, Panionios, Olympiakos Piraeus, AEK Athens, CSKA Moscow and Dynamo Moscow.

In 1997 he was voted the best European basketball coach after he had led several teams to the local championship and the Final Four of the European Cup.
