Dzierżysławice

Dirschelwitz (Polish: Dzierżysławice ) is a town in Upper Silesia. Dirschelwitz located in the municipality Oberglogau ( Głogówek ) in Prudnicki powiat (district Neustadt OS) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Geographical Location

Dirschelwitz is located three kilometers west of the parish seat Oberglogau, 18 kilometers east of the county town of Prudnik ( Neustadt OS) and 38 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship ( Opole ).

East of the flow Dirschelwitz Hotzenplotz, a tributary of the Oder, and the mill race. In Dirschelwitz there was a ford through the Hotzenplotz that Dirschelwitzer ford is called, and was formerly often used as an abbreviation. South of the railway line from Dirschelwitz Prudnik ( Neustadt OS) runs after Koźle ( Cosel ).

Neighboring towns of Dirschelwitz are in the northwest German Müllmen ( wierzch ), in the northeast Mochau ( Mokhov ) with Pauline grass field and city Oberglogau and southwest Racławice Śląskie ( German Rasselwitz ).

History

The village was mentioned in the January 4, 1321 for the first time in a written document in Oberglogau as " Dirislawicz ". Dirschelwitz was a long time of two parts: Counts Dirschelwitz and free Herrlich Dirschelwitz. 1784 had Counts Dirschelwitz which belonged to the rule Oberglogau, 25 farmers, two mills, 23 gardeners, five Häusler and 300 inhabitants. Free Delightful Dirschelwitz that belonged to the Baron Grutschreiber, had a Vorwerk and eleven gardeners and 87 inhabitants. 1818 was one of the Count's share of 25 farmers, 23 gardeners, cottagers five and two water mills. The baronial share included a Vorwerk and eleven gardener. The village of baronial share once belonged to the baronial rule Gläsen. 1865 had Counts Dirschelwitz, which consisted of a village and a Pertinenzgut of primogeniture Oberglogau, 26 farmers, 23 gardeners and 24 cottagers and a surface area of 1520 acres of farm, 87 morning meadow and 30 acres of garden. At this time, the place had a two-class Catholic school with 138 pupils and was the parish by Pauline meadow. Free Delightful Dirschelwitz, which consisted of a village and a Pertinenzgut of primogeniture Oberglogau, had two farmers, two gardeners and twelve smallholdings and a field mark of 698 acres of farm, 85 acres meadow and eleven acre garden. Free Delightful Dirschelwitz was enrolled by Counts Dirschelwitz and eingepfarrt by Pauline meadow.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 467 voters voted to remain in Germany and 71 for the membership of Poland. Dirschelwitz remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 808 inhabitants in the village. 1939, the place had 770 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Dzierżysławice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship and since 1999 he is part of the powiat Prudnicki. On 22 April 2009 the German Dirschelwitz was in the community Oberglogau, plays, introduced as a second official language. On 1 December 2009, the City also received the official German place names Dirschelwitz.
