Earle Dickson

Earle Dickson (* October 10, 1892, † September 21, 1961 ) was a U.S. American who ( the brand Band-Aid ) invented the first aid dressings.

Dickson worked as a cotton buyer for the Johnson & Johnson company. His wife often cut himself with the housework. Dickson noticed that a strip of gauze, when he was attached with tape on the wound, did not remain permanently adhere to the finger. In 1920, he fastened the gauze dressing in the middle of the tape, and covered him for protection with a layer of tulle from. His chief James Johnson liked the idea and decided to market it. His buyers Dickson he was Vice President of the company.
