Ecologist Greens

Ikologi Prasini (Greek Οικολόγοι Πράσινοι, German ecologists / Green ) refers to a Greek political party that represents the principles of environmental policy. It was founded in December 2002 and is a member of the European Green Party.

Political principles

The principles of Ikologi Prasini, as laid down in its Articles of Association: Sustainable, social justice, nonviolence and direct participatory democracy, respect for diversity, decentralization and subsidiarity, protection and restoration of natural ecosystems, quality of life, personal and social responsibility and equality before the law.

Organization

The Ikologi Prasini are organized as a decentralized party in local political movements that have formed on municipal, prefectural and regional levels. The central political organ, the Pan-Hellenic Council, is elected to two -thirds of regional conferences and one-third from the Greek National Congress. History of establishment
