Ednaswap

Ednaswap was an American band from Los Angeles that existed between 1993 and 1998. Frontwoman Anne Preven came up with the band name in a dream; In this dream she was in a band with that name, which was so bad that she was booed off the stage.

Although their releases are relatively unknown, were songs by Ednaswap worldwide hits as they have been covered by other artists. Natalie Imbruglias first single Torn example, was a Ednaswap cover, as well as The State I Am In by Sinead O'Connor. Anne Preven, Scott Cutler and Scot Coogan finished by the resolution of the short-lived band Ednaswap Annetenna. Carla Azar founded in 2000 together with Eugene Goreshter and former Failure guitarist Greg Edwards, the band Autolux.

Style

As with many bands, their style with almost every release. The self-titled debut album can best be described as post- grunge, but Chicken and Wacko Magneto were unequivocally " dirty " Hard Rock with some similarities to Veruca Salt and Hole on their album Live Through This.
