Eindhoven Team Time Trial

The team time trial was a project carried out in Eindhoven Eindhoven cycling race that counted for UCI ProTour. It was held as a team time trial and was first held on 19 June 2005. After a total of three sweeps, the leaders of the city decided not to organize any further discharge of the team time trial in February 2008. Predecessor of this race is the Grand Prix de la Libération, which was carried out between 1988 and 1991. It was one of 1989 cycling World Cup.

Since the Eindhoven team time trial was held two weeks before the start of the Tour de France, it took the team a prep run for the team time trial during the tour.

The race started in the center of Eindhoven. The route led first to Helmond, where there the first split was taken. Then the driver drove back to Eindhoven and passed at the height of the second Rabobank meantime. About the westerly Best place ( 3rd Intermediate ) the objective was achieved in Eindhoven to a total of 47 km.

As with any other transactions performed by UCI regulations team time trial the end time was taken from each team after the fifth driver's passage, the teams usually started with eight riders.
