El Bayadh

El Bayadh (Arabic البيض, DMG al - Bayad, during the French colonial period Geryville ) is a city in Algeria. She had at the last census in 1998, a population of 59 755 inhabitants. It is the capital of the province ( " Wilaya " ) El Bayadh.

Geography

El Bayadh located in the northwestern inland of the North African country in the area of the Sahara Atlas on a plateau.
