Eli Biham

Eli Biham (Hebrew אלי ביהם ) is an Israeli cryptology expert. Together with Adi Shamir, he developed the technique of differential cryptanalysis in 1990.

Biham has worked among others in the development of Serpent and the hash function Tiger. In 2003 he discovered a vulnerability in the GSM mobile radio standard.

Currently (2005) he worked at the Technical University ( Technion) in Haifa.
