Eli "Paperboy" Reed

Eli " Paperboy " Reed ( b. 1983 in Boston, Massachusetts; actually Eli Husock ) is an American soul and R & B musician.

Reed, who grew up in Brookline, near Boston, was brought up by his father, a music critic, to the African-American popular music. He learned as a self-taught piano, guitar and harmonica, making street music. After his high school years he played in Mississippi with Sam Carr. While studying in Chicago, he acted for the singer Mitty Collier as musical director during her gospel church services. In Boston, he founded his band The True Loves. In 2009 he was nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the MOJO Awards.
