Elyor G?aniyev

Elyor Ganiyev (born 1962 ) is an Uzbek politician.

Elyor Ganiyev was initially from 1998 to 2005 Minister of Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On 4 February 2005, he was appointed as the new Foreign Minister, but replaced in July 2012 by Vladimir Norov. Ganiyev was at times also Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. On 28 December 2010 he was again Secretary of State, but was replaced by Abdulaziz Komilov in January 2012.
