The Emmen railway station is a railway station in the Dutch town of Emmen, which was opened on 1 November 1905.

The station is located in the northeast of the center at the end of today's railway line Zwolle - Emmen. Previously, the distance from Emmen went on Stadskanaal and Zuidbroek to Delfzijl. In 1987 the line was electrified.

In 1965 the original station building was demolished and replaced by a new building in the same year. The plan to move the railway station in the direction of the city center, was not implemented. Since July 4, 2005, there is no longer at the station ticket office. The station restaurant but remained open for now. In July 2008, it was replaced by a kiosk.

From Emmen a quick service and commuter train to Zwolle, since December 9, 2012 operated by Arriva. At the station there is also a bus station, stop at the city, regional and long-distance bus routes.
