Empress Zhang (Liu Shan, later)

The younger Zhang (张 皇后, maiden name unknown) was an empress of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms. She was the second wife of the second Shu emperor Liu Shan.

Liu Shan's first wife Empress Zhang was her sister. She was thus also a daughter of General Zhang Fei and Xiahou woman, a daughter of Xiahou Dun. When her sister died in 237, Liu Shan took her as a concubine. In the next year ( 238) he raised them to the Empress.
