Eric Paslay

Eric Paslay (* 1983 in Abilene, Texas ) is an American country musician.

Biography

Paslay grew up in Texas and came over the country band of his grandfather early in touch with music. At 15, he wrote his own songs and after high school he went to Nashville to record a music business degree. About the Internship conclusion he came to a recording contract with EMI.

With his first release Never Really Wanted Paslay had 2011 a first moderate success in the U.S. country charts. But even more successful he was as a songwriter, for example, as co-author of country 's number-one hits like Barefoot Blue Jean Night by Jake Owen and Angel Eyes by Love and Theft, who also came in the top 40 in the official charts. For many more sizes, he also wrote Country songs. 2013 Pasley was nominated for a Grammy for the song Even If It Breaks Your Heart Eli Young Band, which he co-wrote with Will Hoge.

His first success on the Billboard Hot 100 had the Texans in October 2013 with the song Friday Night.
