Ermin Bičakčić

Ermin Bičakčić ( born January 24, 1990 in Zvornik, SFR Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a Bosnian football player. The defender is currently at Eintracht Braunschweig under contract.

Association

He began 1995 in the youth of the SpVgg Moeckmuehl and moved in January 2005 to the then FC Heilbronn (now FC Union Heilbronn). He joined in July 2005 in the youth of VfB Stuttgart. From the season 2009/10 he was a member of the squad of the second team of VfB. His professional debut was Bičakčić on 23 March 2010 on matchday 25 of the 2009/10 season for VfB reserve in the 3rd professional league in a 3-0 home win against SV Sandhausen. On 27 October 2010 he came in the second round of the DFB Cup his first appearance in the first team of VfB when he came off the bench against the Chemnitz FC for the second half for Georg Meier low. On 1 December 2010 Bičakčić came in the group stage match of the UEFA Europa League 2010/11 against BSC Young Boys Bern to his European Cup debut. His Bundesliga debut was 19 December 2010 on the final day of the first round in the starting lineup at 3:5 against FC Bayern Munich. On 29 July 2011 Bičakčić scored in the first DFB Cup round against Wehen his first competitive goal for the Bundesliga team of Stuttgart.

During the winter break of 2011/12 undertook Eintracht Braunschweig Bičakčić, who signed a contract until 30 June 2013. When Eintracht he graduated from February to December 2012, all 34 possible games. In January 2013 Bičakčić extended his contract for another two years until the summer of 2015. At the end of the season he went on with the harmony in the Bundesliga. In this he made his debut on 10 August 2013 ( 1st Round ) in the 0-1 defeat at home to Werder Bremen.

National

On 16 May 2008 Bičakčić received the German citizenship. Six days later, he made his debut for the German U-18 national team against Turkey. On April 21, 2009 debuted Bičakčić for the U- 19 of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Slovenia. In October 2009 he won the DFB - Pokal countries with the Württemberg selection as team captain. In June 2013 he received back his Bosnian passport and now holds dual citizenship. In July 2013 Bičakčić was first appointed to the Bosnian national team and made his debut there on August 14, 2013 in a friendly match against the United States. In his third international cap in the friendly against Slovakia, he scored his first goal for the national team. Later, the initial successful qualification for the World Cup finals was achieved by a win over Lithuania.
