Espérance Sportive de Tunis (handball)

The Esperance Sportive de Tunis is the most successful club of his country. The handball section was founded in 1957 and won their first league title in 1967. With 28 titles and 25 Cup victories, the club is a leader in the Tunisian Handball. 1993 and 2005 he reached the final of the Champions League CAHB, but each lost against Al Ahly ( handball) and GP Pétroliers. 2003 the association succeeded in winning the CAHB Cup Winners Cup. In purely Tunisian final they defeated the team of AS Hammamet.
