Esquibien

Esquibien ( Breton to Eskevien ) is a commune with 1598 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Finistère in the Brittany region.

Location

The place is located in the southwest of Brittany, near the Atlantic coast on the Cap Sizun peninsula. Quimper is located 33 kilometers (km) east, 40 kilometers north of Brest and Paris, about 520 kilometers east of Esquibien (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

From the small port Sainte- Evette day there is the battleship - Sun Enos III to the Île de Sein.

In Quimper and Châteaulin are the next departures of the European Route 60 (Brest -Nantes ) and regional stations in the predominantly parallel railway line.

The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris and the airports Aéroport de Brest Brittany, near Brest and Lorient Bretagne Sud Aéroport de Lorient at the next regional airports.
