Mahalon

Mahalon ( Mahalon Breton ) is a commune with 907 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the western region of Brittany. It is located in the department of Finistère on the peninsula of Cap -Sizun near the Atlantic coast. The river Goyen forms the northern boundary of the municipality. Quimper is located 25 kilometers (km) to the east, 40 km north of Brest and Paris, about 520 km to the east.

In Quimper is the next exit on the highway E 60 (Nantes- Brest) and one regional station. Near the city of Brest, there is a regional airport.

In the community there is a chapel of St. Fiacre
