Esteban Canal

Esteban Canal ( born April 19, 1896 in Chiclayo, Peru, † February 15, 1981 in Cittiglio, Italy) was a Peruvian chess player.

Career

Canal lived first in Peru. In 1909 he came to Europe, where he lived in several countries. During his time in Leipzig from 1914 to 1917, he learned the game of chess, where he became one of the strongest players. In the 1920s he moved to Italy.
