Ethiopian Catholic Eparchy of Keren

Located in Eritrea Eparchy of Keren (Latin: Eparchia Kerensis ) is a diocese of the Ethiopian Catholic Church, which has been in union with the Roman Catholic Church.

Taken on 21 December 1995, the Eparchy of Asmara, she counted 1999 49 889 (5.4% ) Believers in 26 parishes with 25 diocesan priests, 17 religious priests and 53 nuns. Until 2002, she was able to grow to 51 321 (11.3% ) Believers in 27 parishes with 20 diocesan priests, 12 religious priests and 45 nuns.
