Ethiopian Catholic Eparchy of Asmara

The Eparchy of Asmara (Latin: Eparchia Asmarensis ) is a diocese located in Eritrea the Ethiopian Catholic Church, which has been in union with the Roman Catholic Church.

History

On July 4, 1930 founded with an area 119,000 km ² as Ordinariate Eritrea, it counted 26,186 in 1950 (2.9% ) Believers in 65 parishes with 83 diocesan priests and 89 nuns.
