Eugene Koffi Adoboli

Eugene Koffi Adoboli ( born 1934 ) was Prime Minister of the State of Togo from 21 May 1999 to 31 August 2000. Previously, he was an international civil servant at UNCTAD in Geneva.

Adoboli was defeated on 24 August 2000 with a vote of no confidence in the National Assembly of Togo; 57 MPs signed the vote, one spoke out against, two abstained. Adoboli abdicated on 27 August, President Gnassingbe Eyadema accepted the resignation. Eyadema called Agbéyomé Messan Kodjo as Adobolis successor.
