Koffi Sama

Koffi Sama (* 1944 in Amoutchou, Ogou ) was 2002-2005 Prime Minister of Togo.

After completing his school education, Sama went in 1966 to France, where he took a degree in veterinary medicine at the National Veterinary School in Toulouse. After receiving his doctorate in 1972, he returned to Togo back.

Sama worked in various management functions. Among other things, he was head of the National Authority for slaughterhouses and cold stores ( ONAF ). In 1981 he was appointed by President Gnassingbe Eyadema to the Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture. This office he held until 1984.

From 1990 to 1996 he was director of the Togolese Cotton Company SOTOCO. There were other tasks in the Cabinet as Minister of Health and Minister of Education and Research. In addition, he was elected to the National Assembly in 1999.

On 29 June 2002, he broke Agbeyome Kodjo from the Office of the Togolese Prime Minister.
