Eunice is a city ( with a status of "City" ) in St. Landry Parish and to a lesser extent in Acadia Parish, in the U.S. state of Louisiana. In 2010, Eunice had 10,398 inhabitants.

History

The sheriff and later U.S. Marshal CC Duson was founded in 1887 together with his brother to place Crowley. North of it, he founded another place, which was then his wife, Eunice Pharr Duson, named. He won the Southern Pacific Transportation Company for combining both places by train.
