European Go Championship

The European Go Cup or the European Go Congress ( EGC) is an annual event taking place, which is organized by the European Federation Go. The event, which includes both tournaments as well as lectures and information sessions, is the main event of the European Go- Sports. It extends usually over a period of two weeks, in the course of which is determined and the European Go champion.

The next venues for 2013 are provided in Gdynia Poland and 2014 in Sibiu, Romania.

Since 1984, participation in the tournament is no longer limited to European players. The European Masters is the highest ranked player of European origin.
