Extensor digiti minimi muscle

The musculus extensor digiti minimi (Latin for small finger extensors ) is one of the muscles of the superficial extensors of the forearm back. Functionally, it belongs to the extensor digitorum, but because it has its own tendon, which runs through the fifth extensor tendon sheath compartment of retinaculum, it will be considered separately.
