Eyrieux (river)
Weir in the upper reaches
The Eyrieux is a river in France, which runs in the Rhône-Alpes region in the department of Ardèche. It rises in the northern foothills of the Cevennes, in the municipality of Devesset, drained generally in a southeasterly direction through the Regional Natural Park of Monts d' Ardèche and ends after 83 kilometers at La Voulte -sur- Rhône as a right tributary of the Rhône. The river is repeatedly dammed for energy.
