Fabián Carini

Héctor Fabián Carini Hernández ( born December 26, 1979 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan football player, he plays on the position of the goalkeeper.

Career

In the club

Fabián Carini started his career at Danubio FC in his home city of Montevideo. In his fourth season, he became the first-choice goalkeeper. For the 2000/01 season Fabián Carini moved to Italian giants Juventus, but he came in his two seasons in Turin to no use. For the 2002/03 season the goalkeeper to Standard Liege was loaned to the Belgian First Division. Here he matured in his second season for the goalkeeper. For the season 2004 /05 Carini returned to the Serie A back and moved to Inter Milan, but he seldom came here used. Therefore, he was loaned for the 2005/ 06 season at Cagliari Calcio, where he was also only goalkeeper. After his return to Inter in the summer of 2006, Fabián Carini was only the fourth goalkeeper in the club, and therefore he did not come in the following season for use. In the summer of 2007 he signed for Real Murcia, where he was behind Antonio Notario second goalkeeper, a four-year contract. In summer 2009, the goalkeeper joined the Brazilian club Atlético Mineiro, from 2011 he was with Peñarol Montevideo. Mid-2012, they told him there just before closure of the transfer window with that one would put on his services have no value and that he should train with the reserve, although Carini was a regular player of the pre-season in July 2012. In 2013 he is at Deportivo Quito under contract. Until his last mission provisionally on October 26, 2013, graduated from 34 league games.

In the National Team

Junior

Carini, who had been a member of the U -17 Uruguay, also played in the Uruguayan U-20 national team. With this he took part in both the U-20 South American Championship 1997 in Chile, to the finished as Vice World Champion Junior World Cup in 1997 and at the U-20 South American Championship 1999 in Argentina. In the two Americas Championships Celeste was each Junior Vice - South American champions. Also at the Junior World Cup Nigeria 1999 he belonged to the squad of Charrúas. As part of the latter tournament, he was voted the best goalkeeper. Furthermore Carini was also a member of the U -23 in his home country.

A-team

His debut in the senior team was Carini on 17 June 1999 in Ciudad del Este in the game against Paraguay. In the same year he took with Uruguay and at the Copa America in part, was there goalkeeper and got his team to the final. There they lost to Brazil 0-3. Once in the following World Cup qualifiers he was used regularly, he was in 2002 at the Football World Cup 2002 goalkeeper also his choice. Carini came there in all three group games played Uruguay, are used. The Copa America 2007, took fourth place in Uruguay, he played again as the first keeper of the Celeste. Fabián Carini belonged until 2009 to the squad of the Uruguayan national team, where he was to be used regularly.
