Fabio Galante

Fabio Galante ( born November 20, 1973 in Montecatini Terme, PT) is an Italian football player. The central defender played at AS Livorno.

Association

His professional career began in Serie C1 at Empoli in 1991. In 1994 he moved to Genoa, where he achieved remarkable eight goals in three years. In 1996 he then moved to Inter Milan. He played three seasons there and won during that time - 1998 - the UEFA Cup. In 1999 he went to Torino, he remained loyal to this club five years. As Galante was only reserve in Turin, in 2004 he joined the AS Livorno, where he quickly rose to become key players and helped the team in Serie A to establish. In the season 2006/ 07 as Livorno by the corruption scandal in Italy Unexpectedly, took part in the UEFA Cup, he played seven European games for Livorno in which he even scored a goal. After the descent of Livorno at the end of the season 2007/ 08 he dissolved the contract with the club in order to then a few months later but again to connect Livorno.

After the change of Cristiano Lucarelli Shakhtar Donetsk to Galante became the 2007/08 season for a short time new captain of AS Livorno, but was replaced after three games of David Balleri as captain. From the 2008/ 09 season, he did not come beyond the status of a replacement player, so his expiring contract was not renewed in the summer of 2010, after Livorno had previously been relegated from Serie A.
