Fast rack is a large transport of long-term expansion plan for the Greater Denver - Aurora in the U.S. state of Colorado with a volume of 4.7 billion U.S. dollars. Carrier is the local transport association Regional Transportation District ( RTD).

Six new light rail or regional rail lines with a total length of 192 km are to curb the rapidly increasing numbers of commuters in Denver 2013-2016. Existing rail stations and bus lines will be integrated into the plan.

Large transfer point is the traditional Union Station in Denver, here alone to 200 million U.S. dollars will be invested.

In April 2013 was opened with the West Rail Line, the first built under the fast rack - program 12.1 miles long rail section of the Denver Union Station to the Jefferson County Government Center in the City of Golden west of Denver.

The project is funded by federal funds, private donations and in 2005 was increasing the sales tax ( sales tax ) throughout the region.
