The FC Bremerhaven from 1899 eV was a football club based in Bremerhaven.

History

Founded in 1899 as FC Bremerhaven -Lehe, were the greatest sporting achievements in league play so far two participations in the Regionalliga Nord in the seasons 1994/95 and 1999/ 2000. After relegation in 2000 from the Regionalliga Nord, the association of the Oberliga Nord was up to the fifth division Bremen - you're playing today - passed. The FC Bremerhaven target for the 2007 /08 season to qualify for the newly formed Regionalliga Nord and thus step into the Halbprofitum to, was also master, but got no license. The following year, 2009, such was not requested.

In his History of FC Bremerhaven was renamed twice, in 1919 one has the club renamed VfB Lehe of 1899 eV ( Lehe is a district of Bremerhaven ) to the club in 1992 zurückzubenennen FC Bremerhaven 1899 V. The last Regional appearance was on matchday 34 of the 1999/2000 season, when they defeated VfB Lübeck 0:1. Bremerhaven increased with 27 points from as Tabellensiebzehnter.

In the season 2006/07 FC Bremerhaven finished second in the League Association Bremen 2nd place behind the Bremer SV and missed just three points behind the rise only slightly. He took last season again at the DFB-Pokal in part because he had qualified for the first main round. Back in 2005, succeeded in this respect success, the club retired but against FC Schalke 04. Stadium

The venue of the FC Bremerhaven was the domestic customs territory stadium with a capacity of about 5,000 spectators. Sold out last on 16 August 1996 to the first round of the DFB Cup against Karlsruher SC (2:3), by 2-0. For larger occasions since then it deviates from in the larger North Sea Stadium, which has approximately 10,000 spectators and is the venue of the OSC Bremerhaven. This has happened on 20 August 2005 and 10 September 2006 on the first round matches of the DFB Cup against FC Schalke 04 ( 0:3) and VfL Wolfsburg ( 1:3).
