FC Chikhura Sachkhere

The FC Tschichura Sachkhere (Georgian ჩიხურა საჩხერე ) is a Georgian football club from Sachkhere and plays in the top division of Georgia, Umaghlessi league. The club colors are blue and red.

History

FC Tschichura Sachkhere played after the collapse of the Soviet Union until now once in the highest league of Georgian Umaghlessi league. In the first year of the re- direct descent followed in the second division with a 12th place. Since the 2007/ 08 season, the club plays in the second division of Georgia. The home of the club is the Central Stadium.

In the season 2011/12, then succeeded as master of Group B in the second-rate Pirveli League, the rise in the Umaghlessi league. In the season 2012/13 Sachkhere reached the final of the Georgian Cup, but it lost to champions FC Dinamo Tbilisi 1:3. Since Dinamo Tbilisi participates already in the qualification for the Champions League 2013 /14, Sachkhere is thus for the first time allowed to start for the first qualifying round of the Europa League 2013 / 14th
