FC Etoile-Sporting

Etoile -Sporting La Chaux -de-Fonds is a Swiss football club from the city of La Chaux -de-Fonds.

The club was founded in 1898 as FC Etoile rose in 1909 to Serie A and was in season 1918/19, Swiss champion in football. They dismounted in 1932. 1934 merged Étoile FC and FC Sporting Dulcia to FC Etoile -Sporting. From 1944 to 1946 and from 1949 to 1952 the club was in the National League B.

In the 2011/12 season the club interregional in the second league, the fifth- highest division was, and with it the number one for the first time in many decades the town of La Chaux -de-Fonds, as the FC La Chaux -de-Fonds in 2009 in sechstklassigen the second league played. However Etoile -Sporting descended into the 2nd league so that in the 2012/13 season, both the FC and Etoile -Sporting in the 2nd League play. While local rivals by a large margin master of regional group was in the Fünftklassigkeit the 2nd league interregional returned and Étoile -Sporting again left behind, was Etoile -Sporting in April 2013, only on the 12th place out of 14 teams. Since then, the club's website has not been updated. The website of the Regional Council of ANF, however, shows that the club just three points could be reached ahead of the penultimate seventh place and has thus managed to avoid relegation. Also in the season 2013/14 plays Étoile -Sporting ie in the second league. The women's team plays in the first league. The playground is Les Foulets.
