FC Sevastopol

The PFK Sevastopol ( Ukr Професіональний футбольний клуб " Севастополь », Russian ПФК " Севастополь ") is a Ukrainian football club based in Sevastopol, the largest city on the Crimean peninsula. The club was founded in 2002 rose after the 2012/13 season from the second Ukrainian football league, the Perscha Liha on in the highest Ukrainian football league that Premjer - Liha.

History

The association PFK Sevastopol was founded in 2002. His first season, the club played in the season 2002 /03 in the third highest Ukrainian league ( Druha Liha ), where the team finished in ninth place in the table. After four more years in the third division succeeded in 2007 as the first table, the rise in the Perscha Liha, the second highest league in Ukrainian football. There succeeded the PFK Sevastopol to establish itself after 15th place of the direct re- descent was only narrowly avoided in the first season. The following season the team finished eighth and again a season later succeeded by winning the championship in the Volyn Lutsk Persha Liha before the initial rise in the Premjer - Liha. In the season 2010/11 the immediate relegation followed in the second division after the team was only on the last day slipped to the 15th and penultimate place in the table. After the club was in the 2012/13 season once again become masters of Perscha - Liha, managed to rise again.

Stadium

The PFK Sevastopol plays its home games at the Druzhba Stadium in Bakhchisaray near Sevastopol, which can accommodate 3500 spectators.
