FC Unirea Dej

Unirea Dej is a Romanian football club from Dej. He played a total of ten years in the league and II was in 1995 in the second round by the Romanian Cup. Since summer 2007 he is a member of the League III.

History

Unirea Dej was founded in 1921, but resigned in the first 40 years of its existence not in the nationwide operation of gambling phenomenon. In 1962 Unirea rose for the first time in the Divizia B, but had to go to a season already rising again and was incorporated into the re-founded Divizia C. After three years, the club returned in 1966 back in the Divizia B, but increased again post haste from. In the following years the resurgence did not succeed. Several times missed the club as the runner returning to the Divizia B. In 1982, Unirea had to descend into the Divizia D. After direct revival followed in 1984, the new gear in the regional leagues.

In 1989, Unirea Dej returned to the Divizia C. After two years in the middle of the club fought from 1991 to move up to the Divizia B, which was initially missed in second place behind Soimii Lipova scarce. In the 1993/94 season Unirea could leave the competition with a twelve-point distance behind, and went on. In the 1994/95 season the club managed to avoid relegation for the first time, he concluded the following seasons starting in the upper middle of the Divizia B. By reaching the round of sixteen in the Cup competition in 1994/95 achieved the greatest success in the club's history. At the end of the 1998/99 season Unirea had to descend the last one again. After only avoiding relegation was achieved in the following season in Divizia C, the club struggled at the beginning of the 2000s back to the ascent, which was achieved in 2004. In the Divizia B Unirea fought from the start to avoid relegation. In the season 2004/ 05 this target was achieved by the 13th place in the table. Then Unirea signed a contract as a satellite team of CFR Cluj, so that numerous substitutes the first division came in the following season in the championship for use. Yet already the relegation of the trained by George Ciorceri team was made shortly before the end of the season. In June 2006, agreed Árpád Paszkany, the patron of CFR Cluj, with Jean Padureanu, the patron of Gloria Bistrita, that the second team of Gloria, who had the eighth place is in the same second division season, would cede their right to start at Unirea Dej. Beginning of September 2006 left coach Ciorceri the club and was replaced on 14 September 2006 by Dorel Mureşan, with Unirea finished the 2006/07 season in last place and descent into League III. CFR Cluj finished then in the summer of 2007 working with the club. In the League III, Unirea Dej was able to place in the following years in the midfield.

After five successive defeats, coach Eusebiu Şuvagău was released on 10 November 2011 and replaced by Mircea Bolba.

Others

In addition to football, there are other sports departments in the club. Both the volleyball team and the men 's basketball team the ladies played in the 2007/ 08 season in the top Romanian League. The Volleyball Men were also the 2009/10 first class and occupied at the end of the season in fourth place.
