FCM Dinamo Onești

The FC Onesti was a Romanian football club based in Onesti, Bacau county. He played from 1998 to 2000 in Divizia A, the highest Romanian football league.

History

1994 merged Electro MECON with CSM Borzesti, the largest club from neighboring Borzesti to FC Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej. The new club took over the place of Electro MECON in Divizia C, finished the 1994/95 season in second place behind his squadron Foresta Fălticeni and rose after a victory in the decider against Flacara Moreni. After the rise of the club in Divizia B did not play against relegation, but was also placed in the 1995/96 season already in the upper middle. By renaming of Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej in Oneşti of Nicolae Puiu financially supported club in 1996 got its name FC Onesti.

After a fourth place in the following season, the club finished the 1997/98 season in second place behind his squadron Astra Ploieşti. Again brought a playoff against second- placed teams from the same squadron, Electro Craiova, shed light on the rise. The FC Onesti prevailed 2-1 and was allowed in the 1998/99 season for the first time in the highest Romanian league, the Divizia A, compete.

Start-up

Five years after its dissolution of the club under the name Fotbal Club Municipal Oneşti in 2009: founded ( German Town Football Club ) again. After a season in the League IV he plays since 2010 back in the League III.
