Felice Piccolo

Felice Piccolo ( born August 27, 1983 in Pomigliano d' Arco (NA ), Italy) is an Italian football player. He is a central defender and is since January 2010 CFR Cluj in the Romanian League 1 under contract.

Career

In the club

Felice Piccolo began his career in the youth section of Juventus in the 2001/ 02 season he made his debut in the Coppa Italia for the first team.

In order to gain experience, Piccolo was first to the AS Lucchese Libertas in the Serie C1, borrowed later to Como Calcio in Serie B, where he was a regular player. The season 2004/ 05 he spent at Reggina Calcio in Serie A and came eight inserts. A year later, Piccolo was on loan at Lazio, but where he completed only two Serie A games.

For the season 2006/ 07 Piccolo returned to Juventus, which had relegated in Serie B due to the manipulation scandal in 2005/ 06. After he was initially not considered by coach Didier Deschamps, he was also due to the violations of -budgetary central defender Jean -Alain Boumsong and Robert Kovač, in the course of the season often used.

For the 2007/08 season Juve sold 50 % of piccolos transfer rights to the FC Empoli.

End of August 2009 Felice Piccolo was awarded for one season with a purchase option at the AC Chievo Verona. On 12 February 2010 Chievo announced the loan of defender until end of the season to the Romanian first division side CFR Cluj. There he wrote in the summer of 2010 a contract until 2014. With the Romanians he won in the seasons 2009 /10 and 2011/12 the championship.

In the National Team

Felice Piccolo went through since the U-15 youth teams and completed a total of 54 junior internationals. However, for the senior team, he was not yet used.
