Use

The best known is the red fescue, since it is present in many grass mixtures. Especially in so-called ornamental lawns of the red fescue is an important component. Because of its very fine blade and the dense growth, the red fescue is suitable for demanding lawns. Even deep grass cuts, as they occur mainly on golf greens, the red fescue tolerates. However, the red fescue has high standards in the care and the supply of nutrients with regular load.

For new plants, lawns, the fescue is limited because it has a long germination time 10 to 18 days, so we recommend an admixture of perennial ryegrass, as this has a germination time of about 7 days. This is the spread of unwanted dicotyledonous plants (such as Daisy ) Disabled early.
