FIBT World Championships 2009
The 56th Bob World Cup was held from February 20 to March 1, 2009 in Lake Placid, New York, United States instead. It was held parallel to the Skeleton World Cup 2009.

The teams consisted of one male and one female skeleton pilots as well as one male and one female Zweierbobteam. First launched the male skeleton pilot, then the Frauenbobteam, after which the female skeleton pilot and as a conclusion the bobsleigh team of men. Only one run was extended each which adds four individual runs for an overall result.
