Finsteraarhorn Hut

The Finsteraarhornhütte is a refuge of the Swiss Alpine Club in the Bernese Alps ( Switzerland ).

Location and operation

The cottage stands on the steep western flank of the Finsteraarhorn to 3048 m about 100 m above the Fieschergletscher. The present building was built in a modern wood-steel style in 2003, the old cottage now serves as a winter room with space for 10 people. She stands a few meters below the new hut.

Boarding and tours
