Florence of Worcester

Florentius of Worcester also Florentius Wigorniensis (* before 1100, † July 7, 1118 ) was an English Benedictine monk and chronicler.

Previously, the creation of early started by John of Worcester Chronicon ex chronicis it was attributed. Florentius Marianus Scotus enriched work on the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle for more details on this work, however, is now lost. However, John could have used Florentius of collected materials.

About his life nothing is known.
