Florent Chaigneau

Florent Chaigneau ( born March 21, 1984 in La Roche- sur -Yon ) is a French football goalkeeper.

Career

Chaigneau began his career at Stade Rennes, where he first came on the second team as a 17 -year-old to use. At the same time, he took part for the French U- 17 team at the World Championships in 2001 and 2002. He also won in 2003 with the A- youth the coupe Gambardella and a year later the national championship of the reserve teams. On 21 February 2004, he reached his Erstligadebüt when he came off the bench at 1-2 against RC Lens for Petr Čech. After six games this however, he no longer ran into the following season on the first team. Therefore, he was loaned to the English second division Brighton & Hove Albion in 2005, but also played there only once and also suffered relegation. He returned to Rennes, where he was loaned little later to the French third division side Sporting Toulon. While he was employed there more often, but Chaigneau could not also in Toulon enforce final. In Rennes, his contract was not renewed in 2007, after which he spent two years without a club.
