Florin Cezar Ouatu

Cezar ( complete: Florin Cezar Ouatu; born February 18, 1980 in Ploieşti ) is a Romanian countertenor.

Life

Cezar was born the son of the professor at the Mozarteum Florin Ouatu. About his father he came in contact during childhood with the piano. He then attended the " Carmen Sylva School of Arts" in Ploiesti, and from 2001 to 2004, the Italian music school Conservatorio di musica " Giuseppe Verdi" di Milano in Milan, where he studied Baroque music.

Career

He celebrated in 2003 at the renowned Teatro La Fenice his stage debut and won the 2003 International Singing Contest Francisco Viñas "Best countertenor ". After that he was experiencing on European stages as a countertenor in the Music Festival Potsdam and the Lausanne Opera as nireno in Giulio Cesare. It was followed by other performances on the stages in Barcelona, Dresden, Milan, Monaco and San Marino, where he received several awards. Euro Vision Song Contest
